Brodie
has been occasionally entered in the breed rings,
but mostly he has been out with his herding trainer,
and NEW co-owner Lana Horton of
Click For Success. We pulled him out for the Memorial
Day Colorado Classic, and he was pulled for winners
dog, considered for reserve winners dog and received
a reserve winners dog award. We also took him to the
AKC show in Laramie to play, and again he was pulled
for Winners dog. Can't ask for much more than that
for his 5th weekend out to show.

Brodie
went back out to the Lana's to continue his education
with livestock and herding, and will be in training
with me for Obedience, and of course will be making
life in general fun with his happy go lucky and biddable
personality and goofy antics.

We
took Brodie out to "Auntie" Lana's for his
first herding lesson when he was 5 months old. Lana
says he's a "Whiz" on sheep and will be
a great working dog.
Watch
for him in the stock rings in 2007..we're VERY excited
about Lana and him starting what will hopefully be
a road to a WTCH in the future.
He
will DEFINATELY be at the 2009 Nationals in Colorado
competing. |
| Brodie
spotted the cattle in the round pen one day and couldn't
get his mind off them, so "Auntie" Lana decided
to let him get upclose and personal with them. As soon
as he figured out that he could move them as easy as
the sheep..he was off and working, pushing those cows
around the round pen. |
